Isaac runs the Honeywell Junior Creative Writing After-School Clubs on Mondays and Wednesdays. He is a recent graduate of the Creative Writing programme at Goldsmiths, UOL, where he was taught by poet Jack Underwood and children’s author Michael Rosen. He writes on film as well as having poems and short stories published. Isaac is currently working in special education needs, charity advocacy and tutoring aspiring University students. Happy for children to work without the constraints of teaching to the test, Isaac views creative writing as a bedrock of imagination, empathy and perception.
Jenni ran the Honeywell Junior Creative Writing After-School Clubs on Mondays and Wednesdays in 2018-9 and is currently doing her Teacher Training. Since 2014, she has worked in various schools across the UK, with children ranging from the ages of three to nineteen, supporting children with Autism and Special Education needs. Jenni has a passion for language and writing, believing in the power of words. She writes short stories and spoken poetry and specialises in metaphorical descriptions to bring writing to life. A spoken words performer, a hippie-at-heart and a pineapple lover, Jenni is THERE’S A STORY’s perpetual go-to-fairy.
Part human - part dragon, Vasili constantly wards off monsters that hang out near windmills whilst hanging out with the good ones that gorge on ginger ale and egg sandwiches by petrol stations. His fiery dragon-ancestry fuelled his studies in American, English and Greek literature up until his PhD; which is also what keeps him on the road with his bard troupe all over the UK. He has been working with children of all ages for the last fifteen years and has been our official Dragon Specialist, since 2017. Always a whatsapp call away and ready to answer our most cumbersome queries.
